If your shipment is even 60 seconds late you are eligible for a full refund. The catch being you have to take your carrier up on the offer, they won’t voluntarily dish out the dollars and hand them over to you. UPS, FedEx, and DHL offer the money-back guarantee as a courtesy but hope no shipper cashes in on the offered refund. As the holidays approach, major carriers suspend the money-back guarantee. It’s important to be aware of the dates that UPS has designated as the ‘no money-back guarantee days’ to avoid any refund surprises.

Is UPS Air guaranteed?
According to UPS 2017 holiday policy, UPS Air and international Air packages picked up or delivered within the United States are guaranteed throughout the holiday season. However, commitment times for Air and international Air packages scheduled for delivery Nov. 24 and Dec. 18–23 will be extended as follows: UPS Next Day Air Early and UPS Worldwide Express Plus services will be extended by 90 minutes. All other Air and international Air services will be extended to end-of-day. If your UPS Next Day Air did not arrive on time, you could receive a refund depending on how late the shipment arrived.
Is UPS Ground guaranteed?
The guarantee is suspended for all UPS Ground shipments, including shipments to and
